Miller’s crossing
2 March 2005Watched it again after a long time. I think its the best Coen brothers’ movie.
Take the money and run
27 February 2005Probably one among the bad Woody Allen movies (not considering the recent ones). Couple of sequences are very funny though. I particularly like one where he is trying to play cello in a band and where there is a “typo” in a bank-robbery ransom note.
The stranger
20 February 2005Contrary to what I expected (given that its an Orson Welles movie), the plot is quite straight forward.
Murder on the Orient express
12 February 2005A good movie, Albert Finney is great as Poirot.
The undefeated
12 February 2005I found it boring and I like westerns (especially John Wayne movies).
Trail of the Pink Panther
12 February 2005Probably weakest of the Pink Panther series. Nevertheless, my Pink Panther collection is now complete (mostly because of Kei Ohnishi).
John Lee Hooker: Thats my story
12 February 2005I was disappointed with the documentary. They could have made it much better! Documenteries on Howlin’ wolf and Muddy Waters are better than this one.
The crocodile hunter: Collision course
12 February 2005It would have been much better without the CIA stuff. I like the South Park version of Steve Erwin much better
Paris, Texas
12 February 2005Went to check out X’s new home theater system and saw it after Office Space. X tried hard to find a movie in his collection that I would like, but alas. Its too serious a movie for my taste.
